Ajoeb has a lot of experience (300+) in assisting people with work related issues. Since 2008, Ajoeb has been registered as an MfN-registered mediator with the Netherlands Mediators Federation and a member of the Dutch Mediators Association. He is self-employed and works for various clients, including Result Mediation. As an employment mediator, he has an eye for the different backgrounds of people, which can play a role in a disturbed working relationship. With his background as manager, coach, trainer, supervisor and external confidential advisor on inappropriate behaviour, he has built up a lot of knowledge in the field of the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, labour law and the Wet Algemene Gelijke Behandeling.
“An employment conflict often has a paralysing effect. People report sick and stop communicating with each other. My job as a mediator is to get people moving again and to create understanding for each other’s interests and needs. I look for a solution in a solution-oriented way. I make the advantages and disadvantages of a solution clear to the parties, so that they can make a well-considered choice. I think the great thing about mediation is that the parties themselves remain in control and can therefore choose the most acceptable solution. If things go well, this often benefits the mutual relationship. After the conflict, parties find that where one door closes, other doors open again. Getting people moving, even in deadlocked situations, that is what I am all about!
